Lemon Owlbeards
The Lemon Owlbeards...Megan's newest obsession for 2026! These birds are known for their beautiful LEMON & black plumage, amazing beards & sweet, inquisitive demeanor. Each bird is unique both in personality & feather patterns. They are super smart & curious, hardy and are amazing to look at.
They're also super great flyers & have no problem escaping an uncovered brooder at a very young age :]
They lay large, white eggs - roughly 150 per year. It is common for them to lay an egg each day in the Spring and Summer!
This breed was added to the farm late in 2025 & with only a few birds in our initial flock, it is unlikely we will have extras to sell in 2026 but please keep an eye on our Facebook page as we may soon become inundated with chicks!

English Lavender Mottled OrpingtonS
These birds have a beautiful lavender base color, accented with delicate white mottling scattered throughout their feathers. The result is a lightly speckled, almost "snow-dusted" look. A perfect reminder for all of us "Mainers" that snow is always just around the corner!
These fluffy teddy bears are known for being gentle, friendly & easy to handle.
They lay large light brown eggs, around 150-200 per year. It is common for them to lay an egg each day in the Spring and Summer!
ENGLISH LAVENDER MOTTLED ORPINGTON chicks are available as they hatch - STRAIGHT RUN - for $20 each.

SILVER-LACED CHOCOLATE ORPINGTONS
A truly *stunning* breed of chicken...each fluffy feather is a deep chocolate brown, beautifully outlined with crisp silvery-white lacing, creating a striking, high-contrast look across the entire bird!

Blue Laced Red Wyandotte's
The Blue Laced Red Wyandotte's have beautiful red feathers with stunning blue/gray lacing throughout. The hens are excellent layers of medium to large brown egg - roughly 200 eggs per year.
Note: The blue color gene does not breed true so splash and black-laced chicks are also a possibility from this pen.

"Mini" Lavender Ladies 💜
The Lavender Satin Bantams have beautiful smooth feathers with a slight porcelain tinge along their backs. Think of Lavender Orpingtons but HALF THE SIZE! The hens lay small white eggs - roughly 150-175 eggs per year. They are good flyers and enjoy roosting up high as a flock at night. They are tame & good mamas if you are looking for a broody hen! They are bantams so they stay small.
Chicks from this pen hatch with either satin feathers or silkie feathers and will be a beautiful lavender color like the breeding stock.
