Sebastopols are medium-sized geese with beautiful blue eyes and soft, fluffy feathers that nearly touch the ground. The dense feathers make them unable to fly. They are friendly and quiet compared to other breeds of geese and a joy to have on the homestead!
We have a trio of Sebastopol Geese:
Coolwhip is a a pure white goose with all around curly feathers.
Breezy is a lavender gander with all around curly feathers.
Apricot is a buff goose with all around curly feathers.
We hope to have goslings available in the Spring of 2026! Please follow us on Facebook or Instagram FMI :)
Call ducks are a small breed of duck known for their friendly temperament & variety of fun colors. They are excellent at flying and will often fly across the yard/pasture in a pursuit to find...sometimes the other side of the fence. They always come waddling back to home base very quickly :]
We have six Call Ducks:
Poliwhirl is a Crested Snowy Call Drake.
Seel is a Silver Call Hen.
Squirtle is a Lilac Magpie Call Hen
Psyduck is a Snowy Call Hen.
Golduck is a Crested Silver Appleyard Call Hen.
Quaxly is a Crested Blue Call Hen.
All ducklings available in 2025 will be posted on our Facebook & Instagram pages!
Runner ducks are known for well...running! Instead of waddling or flying...they just run - up to 15MPH. The max speed a goat can run (thanks to Google) is also right around 15MPH - wouldn't that be the most adorable race?!
Runner Ducks are considered the most active foragers of all duck breeds and especially love mosquito larvae, snails, & slugs. They complement the goats, sheep & alpacas well because a single mosquito bite can lead to Cache Valley Virus - a devastating virus affecting pregnant goats and sheep. Snails/slugs are also carriers of Meningeal worms which (if ingested) can cause severe neurological issues in goats. If not caught right away, it leads to potential lifelong paralysis & a lot of times can be fatal. Since the goats & especially sheep love to forage and graze - it's so important to keep carriers of these diseases at bay on our property.
Another note - they lay LOTS & LOTS of eggs!
We have (6) Silver Runner Ducks, (3) Blue Runner Ducks & (1) Lavender
Since we just started our Runner Duck flock in 2025, we won't have any ducklings available until 2026. Please follow us on Facebook/Instagram FMI!
